The type, location and severity of injuries in car occupants in relation to accident situations and car damage.

Abstract

Lesions inflicted upon 1370 occupants in private cars are analysed. There was no major influence upon lesions according to location in the car. Safety belt users acquired significantly less severe lesions than non-users. Data are given front and side impacts.
