Tyre impact tests on airport landing lights.

Abstract

The purpose of the tests described in this report was to determine the dynamic loading on an aircraft wheel caused by the tyre rolling over various types of landing lights. The tests were done at the request of the Ministry of Technology on a range of existing lights and some proposed new shapes.
