Abstract

Exists can be used to regulate the right of way. In the woonerf and under 30km/h regulation this is officially allowed. The application of the exit-construction at Norman T-junctions and intersections for the same purpose is also becoming more common. In these cases the exit must be designed in such a way that its status in undoubtedly recognizable. Yet the recommendation of one type of exit design is not reasonable. The design should be linked to the recognizability of the situation.
