Abstract

Transport policy measures aimed at reducing environmental nuisance also include regional policy considerations. There is often a danger that economic disparities will be increased. There has little been research on this topic in the past. Using four examples this paper illustrates what effects can be expected from various measures in regional terms, and what initial information is available to help avoid regional disparities.
