Abstract

The Sfax agglomeration in Tunisia is defined by a big population increase and by an enlargement of spatial areas. A new distribution of residents and of activities has caused many traffic and transportation problems. This paper recommends the definition of Geographical Information System (GIS) method for decision-making to help manage traffic and transportation issues. The English title of the paper is: "A G.I.S application to urban transport management in Sfax, Tunisia".
