Abstract

TRB’s Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Report 123 explores a broader social context for individual decision making related to residential location and travel behavior and consequently will be of interest to planners, researchers, transit managers and decision makers. The findings from the research contribute to efforts to predict mode choice and how to influence it through better policies and design, education, and communication. (Author/publisher)
