Abstract

The objective of this study was to identify performance information that is understood and would be used by all road users to make informed road transport decisions and that would assist road managers in decision making in relation to the management and operation of the road network. To determine what information is valued and how it should be conveyed to road users and managers, a literature review, road user focus groups and telephone surveys and a road managers workshop was undertaken. This report presents the findings from the road user surveys, including detailing the objectives, methodology, results and key findings from primary and secondary research.
