Abstract

The jolt X, that is to say the variation of acceleration in relation with time, is felt by the human organism subjected to oscillations. The characteristics curve of a spring has been established which, in a vertical oscillations system, produces only the smallest possible jolts. Results have been checked by means of an analog computer.
