Abstract

A concept is presented for obtaining objective measurements of the braking performance of motorcycles. An analysis is presented of the sensitivity of tyre traction-limited measures to tow attachment height and a general technique is outlined for adjusting to height to maximize the representativeness of single-wheel tests.
