Abstract

The main object of this study is to make estimates from existing sources of information, of the average unit costs of (a) damage to vehicles involved in accidents for a classification of vehicle type and extent of damage; (b) injury to persons for a classification of race and sex of casualty by severity of injury. A secondary object is to assess the suitability of the available data for making these unit cost estimates.
