Abstract

The length of "possible" reaction and observation time depends on the traffic volume. By comparison with assumed "actual" reaction and observation time decision can be made whether a driver drives safety or risky. For all assumed "actual" reaction and observation times the accident probability has its minimum value at those volumes, which occurred most frequently.
