Abstract
The distribution of the illuminations in tunnels is determined by means of a procedure developed specially for that task, by analogy to the coefficient of utilization method of interior lighting. Moreover formulas are indicated for the optimal wall distance of a fitting mounted on the ceiling, respectively, for the optimal angle of the maximum intensity of fitting lines in the corner of the tunnel.
