Abstract

The concept of urban daily system and the supposed increase in scale has been used to propagate the Randstad Delta metropolis ('Deltametropool'). In this paper, it is demonstrated that there is hardly any increase in scale. Trip distances increase, but keep largely in the agglomeration. There are probably overlapping urban daily systems so it will be better to skip that concept. (A) For the covering abstract of the conference see ITRD E206647.
