Abstract

A wide range of topics concerning the broad field of urban freight transport is covered in the papers presented in this record. The alternatives analyzed are mode of operation, route consolidation, and control strategies. An analytical framework for summarizing representative small commodity movements among firms, institutions, and households within an urban area is also presented.
