Abstract

A multi-phased program has been undertaken to improve urban goods transportation in Canada. This report presents the results of phase I of that program. The objective of phase I have been: to identify the character and importance of the urban goods transport problem and to develop and test an analytical methodology for calculating the effectiveness of potential improvements to the urban goods transport system.
