A German case study in the city of Darmstadt, set up as a similar campaign of the French REAGIR and Minus 10%, to decrease accident fatalities in urban areas is described. Many positive and negative experiences were gathered. The application of the fundamental principle to fix goals and to reward their achievement has proved to be effective in the traffic safety scene.
