Abstract

The results of the conference which is the subject of this report can be summarized as follows: (1) travel forecasts are needed for informed transportation decision making; (2) improvements in travel forecasting methods are urgently needed; (3) information which can be obtained from prototypes should be used to achieve immediate improvements in operational capabilities.
