Abstract

The Department of Transport of the U.S.A. has been developing cooperative relationships with the ministries of transport of other industrialized countries and some organizations like OECD, UIC, IRF, ECE and so on. Cooperation which covers various levels of international collaboration-starting with information exchange, and going on to include exchanges of technical personnel, coordinated research and joint, task-sharing research. Information is given of TRISNET and priority future tasks of DOT for exchanging information.
