Abstract
A programme developed by the U.S. Air Force to reduce the number of deaths among its personnel while driving their own private motor vehicles is described. The programme was designed to give young men, between 16 and 25 years of age, the right attitude towards the driving task. Details are given of the audio-visual media used. In the five years since the programme was developed a marked reduction of 19% was shown. See also PB 6064.
