The use of a corrosion inhibitor as a car washing additive.

Abstract

The possible reduction of motor vehicle corrosion by regular washing, both with and without the addition of a corrosion inhibitor is examined. Results showed a very significant reduction in corrosion rates by regular separate application of the two components of the TRRL inhibitor by low pressure spray.
