Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the feasibility of using a written test to measure driving knowledge some time after learning to drive and thus to evaluate driver education. The pattern of intersection with the car is taken into account. The objectives of driver education are discussed and the purpose of evaluation and its criteria. Driving practices and pattern of car usage are examined. The relationship between car availability, socio-economic status and driving practices are discussed.
