Abstract

Some comments are made on an earlier paper in which A. Peranio put forward some attributes of what he calls a good formula, and discusses some formulae in current use in the light of those attributes, and concluded that their use must be rejected. This paper concludes that those attributes are not necessary for a useful formula and that Peranio's conclusions must in turn be rejected.
