Parking stations are licenced facilities to accommodate parked vehicle for a fee. Their location, position and size of driveways, and market of long versus short stay parking, have a marked operational impact of adjacent streets and intersections. In central Sydney, there are 50 such parking stations providing about 13.000 off street parking spaces. The supply is about to increase by more than 50 per cent if all the proposals before the government are built.
