Abstract

This paper describes a use that has been made of the European ITS Framework Architecture, and the FRAME Browsing and Selection Tools, in a project to create a regional ITS Architecture. It describes the processes that were used, from the definition of the stakeholder aspirations to the creation of the descriptions of the physical entities and the links that are needed to fulfil them. Examples of the results are presented, together with an evaluation of them. The evaluation confirmed both the usefulness of the resulting regional ITS Architecture, and the effectiveness of the FRAME methodology to create it. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
