Abstract

A number of conventional road marking paints have been tested in laboratory. The following characteristics were studied: coarse particles and foreign matter, viscosity, drying time, density, nonvolatile content, storage stability, abrasion resistance and bleeding. As a result of literature studies, experimental research and experiences made by other Swedish laboratories, preliminary methods for testing conventional traffic paint were developed.
