Abstract

Six programmed instruction booklets on driving situations and traffic rules were produced and experimentally tested. The theoretical steps which led to the completion of this work and the validation experiment are described. Results showed that these booklets are an effective instructional tool for self-taught students, but learning is most efficient when they are used in conjunction with a collective course using the same format for presentation.
