Abstract

In Finland, a very strict medical screening of older drivers was introduced in the early seventies. Until now, no cost-benefit analysis has been performed. In this chapter, an attempt is made to describe the structure and functioning of the Finnish system and its potential costs and benefits. For the covering abstract, see IRRD 896859 (C 11271).
