Abstract

It is indicated firstly that cost-benefit analysis can be a useful decision aiding tool in the road safety decision maker's locker before discussing one of the central issues of the application of the analysis in this field- namely the valuation of life. An attempt is made to improve the current methodology of cost-benefit analysis in road safety decision-making.
