Variables affecting the percepion of angular change.

Abstract

A study was made of the effects of four variables (Initial angle size, rate of change, direction of change and percentage of change) on the accuracy of judgments of size changes in visual angles. Two groups of Ss in a dark room reported their judgments of the expansion or contraction of a variable bar of light.
