Abstract

A method for predicting the controllability of a given vehicle through the use of a dynamic model of that vehicle and the responsive characteristics of a driver, both of which have been developed, is outlined. The driver's response characteristics consist of his sensitivity to the degree of a vehicle's deviation from its course, its deviation velocity and deviation acceleration.
