Abstract

THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL RESEARCH CARRIED OUT AT ALFA ROMEO. THE EXPERIMENTAL TESTS ARE CONDUCTED ON THE 500-ACRE BALOCCO TEST TRACK WITH INSTRUMENTED VEHICLES; THEORETICAL RESEARCH USES MODELS WITH N DEGREES OF FREEDOM, WHICH INVESTIGATE ROLL, YAW AND LATERAL TRAVERSE OF THE SPRUNG MASSES.
