Abstract

This paper describes a vehicle image detector which uses a robust pattern recognition algorithm named Directional Temporal plane Transform method (DTT). This method can measure many parameters, including an individual vehicle speed, vehicle intervals, vehicle type, etc. It can be used for instant incident detection and for enforcing parking fines.
