Abstract

The forecasting value of the conflict observation technique is studied. The main question was if there is such a correlation between serious conflicts of children as pedestrians with traffic and collisions at which children as pedestrian are involved, that the conflict observation technique can be used to judge the relative traffic safety or traffic insecurity of residential areas for child pedestrians. For part I and II see B 7893 (IRRD 220519) and B 9444 (IRRD 220520).
