Abstract

Safety, particularly traffic safety, is the result of series of decisions by those who are involved in traffic and traffic technology. Safety is mainly determined by carefulness, skill and discipline. A high safety score has been reached for some traffic systems, especially in countries where much attention has been paid to the safety controls and directions. However, the human being proves to be the weak link.
