Abstract
Brief review of the OECD Report "Evaluation of urban parking systems. The report is based on the idea that a parking policy may be used to affect modal split, traffic volumes and socio-economio development. It therefore specifies various parking facilities and characteristics, objectives and instruments, strategies, ways of implentation and enforcement. The report concludes with a chapter on the effectiveness of various measures and apriori evaluation.
