Abstract

19 Public transport companies are examined for the Dutch union of consumers. The buses arrive at the stops fairly punctually and regularly, they are 1 1/2 times slower than a car and offer an amply sufficient number of seats. The companies differ in secondary qualities. The costs per kilometre are low, compared to the car, but there are great differences in fares.
