Abstract
The author gives a brief review on the report: The elderly safer under way. After analysing statistics like fatalities per age group and per mode, he deals with accident characteristics. Some conclusion: priority should be given to measures improving road safety for this group of road users especially when cycling and walking. See also B 19242.
