Abstract
In this report of the scientific bureau of the Dutch Labour Party means are discussed to further public transport and to diminish the need for private transport. More priority measures for trams and busses (special lanes and traffic signals) are proposed. A special fund is needed to finance o.v. the deficiencies of the public transport budget. The provisions for cyclists and pedestrians are to be improved.
