Abstract
A number of inconsistencies in the Rijnmond Regional Traffic and Transportation Plan, has been analyzed with respect to the goals concerning physical and transport planning. The extent to with this Plan meets the requirements for traffic management schemes is discussed. In order to restrain car traffic, it seems preferable to analyze the effects of road pricing, rather than to evaluate the measures proposed in the Plan.
