This report is an adaptation of the following SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research Publication report: "Traffic education for children up to four years of age: a survey". In addition, the report is supplemented with information on the Dutch health centres' publicity, especially in the safety information field. A number of starting points and possible projects are described. A pilot project is proposed, in line with the activities already being developed in the Netherlands by the Consumer Safety Institute (SCV) and the Dutch Road Safety Organisation (VVN). Policy recommendations made to the national government are also included in the report. These recommendations are primarily aimed at facilitating a good start of facilitating a good start of the proposed pilot project and enabling attendant study. See also C 3515 (R-94-72).
