Abstract

On a two-lane road traffic flows in both directions are examined over a road length of 1200 m. Average and percentile speeds differ considerably as a function of place. In the second part of the measuring site, however, these speed parameters tend to a constant path. During a period of constant rate of flow the average speeds of partial groups fluctuate considerably. Headway distributions differ significantly after 400 meter roadlength.
