Abstract

Transport models in their regional policy context Decision-making on regional infrastructure projects is often based on the outcomes of transportation models. These results are almost never subjected to a sensitivity analysis and also the error margins are seldom mentioned. As small differences in the results of individual evaluations could be well inside these error margins it is often not possible to draw firm conclusions on the end ranking of projects. In most cases decision-makers are in not aware of this. (Author/publisher)
