Abstract

With data collected from 1973 to 1974 it is calculated that the number of birds dying in traffic is 653.000 a year and the number of manuals 159.000. The number is dependent on the landscape and on the presence of food on the road. The victims are usually vanished in 24 hours. So it is hard to calculate exactly how many victims there are.
