Abstract

A model has been developed for the subjective experiencing of a lack of traffic safety in residential areas. The proposed model is related to studies concerning stress. The model is based upon five factors, who jointly make up the subjective experiencing of a lack of traffic safety. These factors are: perceived control, attitudes, attributions, perceived risk and danger and personal contact with traffic accidents.
