Abstract

Elderly people have a greater risk to have an accident as pedestrian and cyclist per vehicle mile. Loss of experience in traffic and loss of physical functions and psychical functions are probably explaining factors. Edcuation is a measure to influence their behaviour. For removing dangerous spots in their often used routes a method is developed. The method is tested in Eindhoven and described here.
