Abstract

Road safety effects of the introduction of Different Payment for Mobility. The present study was aimed at determining the effects of Different Payment for Mobility (DPM) on road safety. First, as a basis, an estimate was made of the autonomous road safety development, which is the continuation of the present developments without the effects caused by the introduction of DPM. In this study road safety is expressed in the number of road crash fatalities and in-patients. It must however be noted that the in-patients as a result of crashes in which no motor vehicle was involved were not taken into account.
