Abstract

Traffic regulations from most European countries regarding the individual transport provisions for disabled persons are reviewed. Six of the nine countries have rules for two categories of special vehicles.In all countries except in the Netherlands a driving licence is mandatory. The Dutch category of disabled person vehicles which is allowed to drive on the road, on the cycle track, or on, the following exist not in the other countries.
