Abstract
A description of the traffic light situation in München, which is equipped with flexible programme selection, flexible programme selection with green time distribution, and flexible programme formation. A new central traffic control centre houses the complete control equipment with computer. Experiments with different types of detectors resulted in the use of induction detectors and ultrasonic detectors.
