The connection between traffic-psychological tests and various criteria of driver-behaviour was investigated. 24 volunteers absolved an approx. 1-hour-drive on a standardized route in Vienna while being watched by 2 observers in the subject's car. Besides, visual perception, attent reactive behaviour, intelligence and personality were investigated by means of partly newly developed tests mainly at a micro-processor controlled test-unit. Additionally, former accidents and traffic-violations which were recorded during an extensive interview, were taken into consideration.
