Abstract
The papers presented at the colloquium on the necessity and possibilities of cooperation between engineers and psychologists and physiologists in the development of principles for road planning are grouped around the following themes: Road bent design and driving performance; Influence of visibility distance on driving performance and overtaking; Vehicle spacing and the influence on traffic safety; and Influence of driving speed and traffic concentration on the traffic safety of junctions.
